Chaos Esports Club is looking to revive its presence in Dota 2 with the pickup of the Quincy Crew.

Quincy Crew is one of the most exciting new teams in this DPC. The NA squad began its existence in the post-TI 9 roster shuffle and it has one of the most well known NA players. Initially, the two “Hassan brothers” played together which was a dream come true for most fans out there. Unfortunately, this only lasted so long as just days after QC qualified for the Summit 11 Minor, Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan announced that he would depart the squad. According to the ex EG player, he did not feel comfortable and was not “the right fit” for this team.

Chaos Esports Club’s ex-Dota 2 roster had some of the best individual players in it. However, Rasmus “MISERY” Filipsen and his team-mates were absolutely demolished at TI 9. Although they’ve had some sparks of hope, the team finished last in their group. Needless to say, four of the team members left, leaving only Filipsen. Sadly, he was unable to form a new team which is why Chaos EC decided to let him off just a couple of days ago.

That’s why Chaos Esports Club decided to acquire Quincy Crew under their banner. “Coming into the 2019-2020 DPC season we wanted to field a North American roster and Quincy Crew came as a natural fit. They share a passion for winning and constant learning…” Chaos EC’s General Manager Jared Fletcher said.

Chaos EC’s recently added Jonáš “SabeRLight-” Vole on a trial. This means that Yawar “YawaR” Hassan can finally get back to his carry role. After all, he was one of the most successful NA caries during the last DPC.

The next challenge ahead of Quinn “CCnC” Callahan and Co. will be the Dota Summit 11. The first Minor of this DPC starts in just two days from now in LA, California.
